I expect in post processing I'll brighten the photo and fill in the bare spots further up the hill
Here is the photo after post processing. I just fixed the bare spot at the bottom and added some drama to the sky and improved the contrast and structure on the trees
Thought for the day: Don't get killed driving! It was snowing hard when we drove Ito the Mad River Valley yesterday and I heard from my friend Paul about an overturned car and a bus that went off the road. I was driving quite gingerly in the middle of the falling flakes for 30 minutes, and as a result showed up at the grocery store just after closing. That's s result I'll gladly take over the possibility of running off the road and risking life and limb. Drive safe out there!
