The Fells were a bit chilly - about 15 degrees Fahrenheit - this morning, so a hike definitely seemed more appealing than a bike ride. Conditions were just a shade icy in spots, but for the most part it wasn't treacherous at all.

I liked how the longer shadows in the morning are fuzzy and drew a fuzzy line through the sharp part of the photo. This is definitely getting the black and white treatment!
In post, I brought out more of the drama in the differences between dark and light and highlighted the structure of the ice.
Thought for the day: I had a great work-related conversation with a former colleague this morning before my hike. The smartest people inspire others to learn and discover. Engage with them as much as you can.
